Napa Valley Quilt Cabernet Sauvignon
The winemaking process started by picking fruit at optimum physiological maturity. Color is ark red with purple hues. Aromas are a seamless blend of crème de cassis, hazelnut, cocoa, blackberry preserves, charred meat, and blackberry pie along with hints of dark licorice, stewed rhubarb, strawberry, spice and vanillin. A rich and satisfying palate with dark chocolate, yogurt, molasses, brown sugar and rhubarb notes presented in perfect balance with higher-toned fruit emphasis. $10 / $40
Belle Glos, Pinot Noir
Grapes grown in the southern portion of the Santa Lucia Highlands. Its coastal climate is cool but has warmer afternoon temperatures and tamer winds which creates great texture, deep and balanced Pinot Noir. French Oak barrel aging – 9 months. $10 / $40
Hogwash Rose
The wine is purely and simply summertime in a glass. The 2016 Hogwash Rose displays a pale salmon-pink color and aromas of rose petal, bright cherry and pink grapefruit. Flavors of early season raspberry and strawberry lightly coat the mouth through a fresh, lively finish. It is a serious rose wine but one that does not take itself too seriously. $8 / $28
Halter Ranch, Red Blend
CDP (Cotes de Paso) is our Rhone- style blend that is a combination of four varietals from our estate vineyard. Grenache provides a bright fruit forward entry, Mourvedre adds spice notes, while Syrah brings some weight to the mid-palate, and Tannat ties everything together with color, tannin and acidity. Loaded with aromas of dried strawberry and rose petals, and a hint of garrigue, this delicious wine has an elegant palate that leads to a long smooth finish. (3,500 case production) $9 / $35
